Uses

Used for the treatment of severe osteoporosis in selected patients at high risk of fracture.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with current or previous venous thromboembolism and certain cardiovascular conditions.

Nausea, diarrhea, headache, and skin reactions may occur.

Cardiovascular risk should be assessed before and during treatment.

Acts on bone metabolism by promoting bone formation and reducing bone resorption.

Store at room temperature protected from moisture.
