Uses
Topical formulations are used to reduce unwanted facial hair growth. Oral formulations may be used to reduce relapse risk in specific patients with high-risk neuroblastoma.

Side effects
Topical use may cause skin irritation, acne, rash, or burning. Oral therapy may be associated with hearing loss, diarrhea, fever, infections, myelosuppression, and liver abnormalities.
Warnings
For oral oncology use, monitor blood counts, liver function, and hearing during treatment. For topical use, avoid contact with eyes and discontinue if severe irritation occurs.
How it works
