Used for induction and maintenance of general anesthesia.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to halogenated anesthetics or history of halothane-associated liver injury.

Hypotension, arrhythmias, nausea, vomiting, respiratory depression, and hepatotoxicity may occur.

Associated with rare but severe hepatic injury and malignant hyperthermia in susceptible patients.

Volatile inhalational anesthetic that depresses the central nervous system to produce general anesthesia.

Store at room temperature and protect from light.
