Uses

Used to prevent or treat deficiencies of folic acid, vitamin B1, vitamin B6, and vitamin B12. May be used in conditions with increased nutritional requirements or deficiency-related disorders.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation.

Side effects

Generally well tolerated at recommended doses. High-dose pyridoxine may cause sensory neuropathy with prolonged use. Allergic reactions are rare.

Warnings

Keep out of reach of children. Folic acid may mask hematologic signs of vitamin B12 deficiency. Seek urgent medical advice in case of accidental overdose.
