Uses
Used for prophylaxis and treatment of acute rejection in kidney transplant recipients in combination with other immunosuppressive therapies.
Do not use if
Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to rabbit proteins or formulation components and in patients with active infections where further immunosuppression is inappropriate.
Side effects
Common adverse effects include urinary tract infection, fever, chills, nausea, hypertension, dyspnea, thrombocytopenia, and leukopenia.
Warnings
May cause severe infusion reactions, anaphylaxis, infections, and hematologic abnormalities. Use only under specialist supervision.

A polyclonal immunoglobulin preparation that depletes and modulates T lymphocytes, producing potent immunosuppressive effects.
