Uses

Used for treatment and prevention of osteoporosis in patients who may benefit from vitamin D supplementation.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in esophageal abnormalities, inability to remain upright for 30 minutes, and hypocalcemia.

May cause gastrointestinal irritation, musculoskeletal pain, hypocalcemia, and esophageal discomfort.

Follow administration instructions carefully to reduce esophageal injury risk. Correct hypocalcemia before treatment.

Alendronate inhibits bone resorption by osteoclasts, while vitamin D3 supports calcium absorption and bone health.

Store at room temperature in a tightly closed container.
