Uses

Used for edema associated with heart failure, renal disease, hepatic disease, and for hypertension.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in anuria, hepatic coma, and hypersensitivity to torsemide or formulation components.

Excessive urination, dizziness, hypotension, electrolyte disturbances, and renal function changes may occur.

Monitor blood pressure, renal function, glucose, and electrolyte levels during treatment.

Loop diuretic that inhibits the Na+/K+/2Cl− transporter in the ascending loop of Henle.

Store at room temperature according to product instructions.
