Used in the treatment of ovarian cancer and various other malignancies as part of chemotherapy regimens.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in severe bone marrow suppression, significant bleeding, and severe hypersensitivity to platinum compounds.

Bone marrow suppression, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, anemia, and thrombocytopenia may occur.

Requires close monitoring of blood counts and renal function. Administration should be supervised by experienced oncology specialists.

Platinum-based antineoplastic agent that forms DNA cross-links and inhibits cancer cell replication.

Store at 20–25°C and protect from light.
