Uses

Topical analgesic and soothing preparation used for temporary relief of minor muscle aches, joint pain, and skin irritation. The combination of chamomile extract with menthol provides mild anti-inflammatory and cooling effects.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to chamomile, menthol, or any component of the formulation. Avoid application to broken skin, mucous membranes, or near the eyes.

Side effects

May cause local skin irritation, redness, or allergic contact dermatitis in sensitive individuals. Propylene glycol can occasionally cause mild stinging upon application.

Warnings

For external use only. Do not apply to wounds or damaged skin. Keep away from children. Discontinue use if severe irritation or allergic reaction develops.

How it works

Chamomile extract exerts mild anti-inflammatory activity via flavonoids such as apigenin. Menthol activates TRPM8 cold receptors producing a cooling analgesic sensation. Glycerin and propylene glycol serve as humectant vehicles enhancing skin penetration.
