Uses

Used for duodenal ulcer, gastroesophageal reflux disease, erosive esophagitis, and conditions associated with excessive gastric acid secretion.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to nizatidine or other H2-receptor antagonists.

May cause headache, dizziness, diarrhea, nausea, rash, and rarely blood count abnormalities.

Persistent gastrointestinal symptoms should be evaluated to exclude gastric malignancy.

A reversible H2-receptor antagonist that suppresses gastric acid secretion by parietal cells.

Store at controlled room temperature in a dry place.
