Used for susceptible bacterial infections including respiratory tract, skin, and ear infections.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to cefdinir or cephalosporins.

Diarrhea, nausea, rash, abdominal pain, and headache may occur.

Use cautiously in patients with a history of penicillin or cephalosporin allergy.

Third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis.
