Uses
Used for gastroesophageal reflux disease, peptic ulcer disease, Helicobacter pylori eradication regimens, and hypersecretory conditions.
Do not use if
Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to lansoprazole or formulation components.
Side effects
Headache, diarrhea, abdominal pain, nausea, and constipation may occur.
Warnings
Long-term use may increase the risk of fractures, vitamin B12 deficiency, and certain infections.
