Uses

Indicated for the acute treatment of migraine with or without aura in adults and certain pediatric patients.

Do not use if

Ischemic heart disease, stroke, uncontrolled hypertension, hemiplegic migraine, or hypersensitivity.

May cause dizziness, somnolence, fatigue, chest discomfort, and nausea.

Evaluate cardiovascular risk before use in susceptible patients.

Selective 5-HT1B/1D receptor agonist that constricts intracranial vessels and inhibits trigeminal nerve signaling.

Store at room temperature between 15°C and 30°C.
