Uses

Antidepressant used in the treatment of depressive disorders.

Do not use if

Hypersensitivity to mianserin or severe liver disease.

Drowsiness, weight gain, dry mouth, and dizziness may occur.

Monitor for worsening depression or suicidal thoughts, especially early in treatment.

Tetracyclic antidepressant that enhances central noradrenergic neurotransmission.

Store at room temperature in a dry place.
