Uses

Used for hypertension, chronic stable angina, vasospastic angina, and coronary artery disease.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to amlodipine.

Peripheral edema, fatigue, nausea, abdominal pain, dizziness, and somnolence may occur.

May cause symptomatic hypotension and can worsen angina or precipitate myocardial infarction in susceptible patients.

Dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker that relaxes vascular smooth muscle and lowers blood pressure.

Store at room temperature away from moisture.
