Uses

Topical heparin preparations are used to help relieve superficial thrombophlebitis, bruising, and localized inflammation.

Do not use if

Hypersensitivity to heparin or active bleeding in the treatment area.

Skin irritation, redness, itching, or allergic reactions.

Avoid application to open wounds unless specifically directed.

Heparin has anticoagulant properties and may reduce local clot-related inflammation.

Store at room temperature away from excessive heat.
