Uses

Used with diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in hypersensitivity to glimepiride or sulfonylureas and not suitable for type 1 diabetes.

Hypoglycemia, dizziness, headache, nausea, and weakness may occur.

Severe hypoglycemia may occur, especially in elderly patients or those with renal impairment.

Sulfonylurea that lowers blood glucose by stimulating insulin release from pancreatic beta cells.

Store at room temperature away from moisture.
