Uses

Indicated for treatment and prevention of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women and for reducing the risk of invasive breast cancer in selected postmenopausal women.

Do not use if

Active or previous venous thromboembolism and pregnancy.

Side effects

Common adverse effects include hot flashes, leg cramps, peripheral edema, arthralgia, and sweating.

Warnings

May increase the risk of venous thromboembolism and fatal stroke in certain patients.
