Uses

Used in combination with other antitubercular drugs for treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis.

Do not use if

Hypersensitivity, optic neuritis, or inability to report visual changes.

Optic neuritis, reduced visual acuity, color vision changes, rash, and gastrointestinal upset may occur.

Visual function should be monitored regularly during treatment.

Inhibits mycobacterial cell wall synthesis and is active against Mycobacterium tuberculosis.

Store at room temperature in a dry place.
