Uses
Used as an adjunct in the treatment of Parkinsonism and for control of drug-induced extrapyramidal symptoms, except tardive dyskinesia.
Do not use if
Hypersensitivity to benztropine or formulation components. Contraindicated in children under 3 years of age.
Side effects
May cause dry mouth, constipation, nausea, blurred vision, tachycardia, dizziness, and confusion.
Warnings
May impair mental and physical abilities required for driving or operating machinery. Use caution in elderly patients.
