Uses
Used for the treatment of hypertension when combination therapy is appropriate.
Do not use if
Contraindicated in anuria, history of ACE inhibitor–related angioedema, or hypersensitivity.
Side effects
May cause dizziness, hypotension, cough, electrolyte imbalance, or renal function changes.
Warnings
Monitor blood pressure, renal function, and electrolytes.
How it works
Combines an ACE inhibitor with a thiazide diuretic to lower blood pressure.
