Used for the treatment of major depressive disorder in adults.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to desvenlafaxine or venlafaxine and with concomitant MAOI use.

May cause nausea, dizziness, insomnia, sweating, increased blood pressure, and sexual dysfunction.

Monitor for suicidal thoughts, serotonin syndrome, and blood pressure elevation, especially early in treatment.

Desvenlafaxine is an SNRI that increases serotonin and norepinephrine levels by inhibiting their reuptake.

Store at room temperature.
