Uses

Used for duodenal ulcer, gastric ulcer, GERD, erosive esophagitis, and hypersecretory conditions.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with serious hypersensitivity to famotidine or other H2-receptor antagonists.

Headache, dizziness, constipation, and diarrhea may occur.

Use cautiously in elderly patients and those with renal impairment. Persistent symptoms require evaluation.

Histamine H2-receptor antagonist that suppresses gastric acid secretion.

Store at room temperature in a dry place.
