Used to reduce the risk and severity of doxorubicin-associated cardiomyopathy in selected cancer patients.

Do not use if

Should not be used with non-anthracycline chemotherapy regimens.

Injection site pain, myelosuppression, nausea, and fatigue may occur.

May increase myelosuppression and can cause fetal harm.

Cytoprotective agent that chelates iron and reduces free-radical mediated cardiac damage.

Store according to manufacturer instructions.
