Uses
A centrally acting skeletal muscle relaxant used to relieve spasticity and muscle spasm, including that caused by multiple sclerosis or spinal cord disorders.
Do not use if
Contraindicated in hypersensitivity to baclofen. Use with caution in epilepsy, kidney impairment, and psychiatric disorders.
Side effects
Common effects include drowsiness, dizziness, weakness, fatigue, and nausea.
Warnings
Do not stop suddenly, as abrupt withdrawal can cause seizures, hallucinations, and rebound spasticity. May impair alertness; avoid alcohol.
