Uses

Used in adults for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and progressive chronic fibrosing interstitial lung diseases.

Do not use if

No formal contraindications are listed, but caution is required in patients with hepatic impairment.

Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, elevated liver enzymes, and abdominal pain are common. Serious hepatic and thromboembolic events may occur.

Monitor liver function. Not recommended in moderate or severe hepatic impairment.

A multi-target tyrosine kinase inhibitor that reduces fibrotic signaling pathways involved in progressive lung fibrosis.
