Uses
Used with diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
Do not use if
Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to components and in initiation of treatment for NYHA class III or IV heart failure.
Side effects
Hypoglycemia, weight gain, edema, headache, and upper respiratory symptoms may occur. Heart failure risk may increase.
Warnings
Monitor for heart failure, hypoglycemia, edema, and weight gain. Regular glucose monitoring is important.
