Uses

Used for acute treatment of migraine attacks with or without aura in adults. Not indicated for migraine prevention.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in ischemic heart disease, coronary vasospasm, certain arrhythmias, stroke history, and uncontrolled hypertension.

May cause dizziness, fatigue, tingling sensations, flushing, and chest or throat tightness.

Assess cardiovascular risk before use in susceptible patients. Discontinue if serious cardiac symptoms occur.

Selective 5-HT1B/1D receptor agonist that reduces migraine symptoms through cranial vasoconstriction and inhibition of neuropeptide release.

Store at room temperature in the original package.
