Uses
Indicated for the acute treatment of migraine with or without aura and for preventive treatment of episodic migraine in adults.
Do not use if
History of hypersensitivity to rimegepant or any component of the formulation.
Side effects
May cause nausea, abdominal pain, hypersensitivity reactions, hypertension, and rarely Raynaud's phenomenon.
Warnings
Discontinue if serious hypersensitivity reactions occur. Monitor blood pressure when appropriate.
How it works
Calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) receptor antagonist that reduces migraine activity.
Storage
Store at controlled room temperature between 20°C and 25°C.
